I was born and raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico, the beautiful Land of Enchantment. Surrounded by seemingly endless skies and immersed in nature at 7500 ft., my love of being in the elements has been a lifelong affair.  My curiosity of movement began at an early age first in gymnastics, then dance for many years. My deep connection to movement eventually led me to yoga in 2008. I took Billy Goldman's classes at Richard Freeman's former studio, The Yoga Workshop in Boulder, Colorado, one of the oldest ashtanga studios in the United States.

My and my husband Neil moved to the Big Island in October, 2017 and live on a 14 acre coffee and avocado farm in South Kona. I completed my RYT 200 certification in March, 2018 at Kalani Oceanside through Yoga Centered, east side of Hawaii’s first yoga school. I then continued my studies and received my certification in Yoga S.A.F.E. (Sustainable & Safe Adaptations of Yoga for EveryBODY) through Soma Yoga Institute in November, 2018. I have worked with Jim Bennitt, co-owner of Tejas Yoga in Chicago and Tantric Vinyasa Teacher influenced by ParaYoga, Universal Yoga, the Himalayan Institute, and the Krishnmacharya Lineage, attending several of Jim's annual yoga retreats. Most recently, I completed my Barre Above® instructor certification in March, 2019.  Blending these trainings, I teach a variety of classes and offer a dynamic experience for every level of student.

I teach in North & South Kona.  I offer weekly classes and am also available for private one-on-one yoga sessions, small group sessions, and corporate trainings.
